Kenneth Egelund Schmidt is Advisory Board member at LeaderLab
Kenneth Egelund Schmidt is Vice President for IT in Carlsberg. He is responsible for merging 17 different IT organisations cross Europe taking some important steps for Carlsberg in the direction of standardisation, creating efficiency and using best practice and thereby realising potential value of both IT and business.
Kenneth joined Carlsberg in 2008 coming from a position as Senior Vice President and CIO of Danfoss, a Danish based provider of mechanical and electronic products and controls. He has been responsible for Danfoss’ IT division with close to 500 employees, supporting 170 locations worldwide.
The department in Danfoss was rated by external vendors as one of the leading global IT-functions. In 2007 Kenneth became CIO of the year.
Kenneth is also a expert Judge in Vestre Landsret. He is chairman of Bredana A/S and he is a member of the Executive Advisory Board in Franklin Covey Nordic.
He holds a Master of Science in Production, Organisation, Economy and IT-Systems from Aalborg University. He was a captain in the Danish military Academy and he is also Certified Coach in Executive Coaching.
